Rice cookers come in all sorts of varieties, with different sizes, materials and styles, but they all help you cook rice properly for your family meals. Be sure to read the instructions for your rice cooker, and rice cooking times are approximate, as rice cookers differ in size and temperature.
In 2-quart non-stick coated rice cooker, stir together Rice, contents of Seasoning Packet, 1 tablespoon butter or margarine, and 2 cups hot water. Stir mixture until Seasoning Mix is dissolved. Cover and turn on rice cooker; set to “cook.” Simmer in covered rice cooker for 20-25 minutes, stirring lightly every 5 minutes, until rice reaches desired texture and most of liquid is absorbed.
Important Note: When rice is fully cooked, remove from rice cooker immediately. Do not leave rice in rice cooker as it may stick to the pan.
