Noodles with Bolognaise Sauce
Serves 4
Ingredients
One 4.8 oz. package Farmhouse Creamy Italian Garlic Flavor Pasta
1/2 lb. lean ground beef
1/4 cup finely chopped onion
1/4 cup finely chopped peeled carrot
1/4 cup finely chopped celery stalk
One 16 oz. can peeled whole tomatoes, drained & broken-up
1 cup water
2/3 cup milk
1/3 cup dry white wine
1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/8-1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Directions
- In a large skillet, brown ground beef with onion, carrot and celery until beef is no longer pink; drain off fat.
- Add tomatoes, water, milk, wine, black pepper, red pepper flakes, pasta and contents of seasoning packet; bring just to a boil.
- Reduce heat to medium and cook uncovered for 10 minutes.
- Before serving, sprinkle with grated Parmesan, if desired.
