Rice Cooker Directions
Rice cookers come in all sorts of varieties, with different sizes, materials and styles, but they all help you cook rice properly for your family meals. Whether your rice cooker recipes include brown rice, white rice, wild rice, long grain rice or short grain rice, a rice cooker will help you make your rice dishes the way you like. But be sure to read the instructions for your rice cooker, and rice cooking times are approximate, as rice cookers differ in size and temperature.

Important Note: When rice is fully cooked, remove from rice cooker immediately. Do not leave rice in rice cooker as it may stick to the pan.

In 2-quart non-stick coated rice cooker, stir together Rice, contents of Seasoning Packet, 1 tablespoon butter or margarine, and 2 cups hot water. Stir mixture until Seasoning Mix is dissolved. Cover and turn on rice cooker; set to “cook.” Simmer in covered rice cooker for 20-25 minutes, stirring lightly every 5 minutes, until rice reaches desired texture and most of liquid is absorbed.
